The Feldberger Hof is located at an altitude of 1,300 metres – and the prospects are just as good for anyone who is looking for well-founded and future-oriented training. Internship program - Start your career with us!

We offer committed students and young professionals the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience in a dynamic environment. With us, you can put your knowledge into practice, work on exciting projects and develop personally and professionally.

  • School interns: You can start at any time, even at short notice. We will be happy to provide you with a room and full board. All we need is your CV and a certificate from your school. Work with us to find out what your future holds - we will be happy to help you!
  • Student interns (at home and abroad): Apply at least 3 months in advance, as a long-term internship must be planned in detail. You can stay with us for between 3-12 months. We need a CV and a letter from your university.

Hotel Management Specialist (3 years)

Start: September & April

Training content:

  • Organising and working in the reception and reservations area
  • Sale of overnight stays and services
  • Deployment in areas such as housekeeping and entertainment so that you can get to know the hotel
  • Organising and making calculations for events
  • Commercial management and control
  • Development and deployment of marketing strategies
  • Process control and optimisation
  • Planning and implementing working and personnel processes
  • Dealing with guests and designing the guest experience

Hotel Specialist (3 years)

Training content:

  • Dealing with guests and designing the guest experience
  • Working in the reception and reservations area
  • Sale of overnight stays and services
  • Deployment in areas such as housekeeping and entertainment so that you can get to know the hotel
  • Serving food and drinks, food & beverage management tasks
  • Interface management

Tourism and Leisure Specialist (3 years)

Start: September

Training content:

  • Helping in housekeeping, service & entertainment to get to know the hotel
  • Recording, organising and monitoring guest requests
  • Reception service, preparing for arrivals and departures
  • Hotel cash register, handling post, complaints management
  • Consultations and room sales in the reservations department
  • Preparing presentations for trade fairs and overseeing the trade fair booth
  • Designing, organising and invoicing events

Chef (3 years)

Start: September & April

Training content:

  • Preparing dishes
  • Planning menus
  • Calculation, organisation and handling food and ingredients
  • Knowledge and implementation of hygiene regulations (HACCP)
  • Storage and orders
  • Food art: decorating food
  • Deployment in all areas of the kitchen: gardemanager, saucier, entremetier, pâtissier und apprenti cuisinier & cuisiniére

Specialist kitchen employee

We must comply with special standards and guidelines in order to call ourselves a top training organisation. From 2018 to 2021, we received the “HR Excellence Award“ for our unique leadership development concept, which stands for excellent training in the hotel industry.

Our MOVE UP! Support and motivation programme for apprentices and BA students offers training, apprentice events, external apprenticeships, apprentice projects and much more! The perfect requirements for developing, learning a great deal and having a lot of fun!

What makes us so special as employers:

  • Our team of trainers! Whether service, reception or animation - each area has its own trainer and thus contact person who answers questions, gives feedback and sets goals and learning tasks.
  • We have a kick-off day! We are professional from day one and ensure a perfect start! On the introductory day, we inform about our hotel concept, our philosophy, but also about our quality standards.
  • Trainee events! For our team spirit, there are different events and joint activities every year, such as the trainee excursion. This is planned by the trainees themselves and promotes team spirit.
  • Good atmosphere & feeling good! It's like being on a big ship here, so it's important that we function as a team and a community. You have to be able to rely on each other, but also have fun together, which is guaranteed by the sensational leisure activities and benefits.

  • Trainee projects. Our conviction: To grow, you have to be challenged. That's why our trainees are quickly given the opportunity to take on responsibility and lead exciting projects.
  • Our trainee incentive. Diligent work at Feldberger Hof is rewarded! The heads of department evaluate the work and appearance of the trainees in their respective departments. Every six months, the two best rated trainees win a high-quality prize.
